Background

Norm joined Garofalo, Schreiber & Storm, Chtd in 2013. He concentrates his practice in the area of workers’ compensation fraud. He has represented employers, insurance companies, special investigative units and TPAs in fraud actions before the Illinois Department of Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit (WCFU). Prior to joining the firm, Norm served as a fraud investigator/attorney for the WCFU. Norm has a broad and extensive insurance background having served as president of Great Central Insurance Company. He also managed the Midwest Branch for Argonaut Insurance, AON Murfield Underwriters and Zenith Insurance Company. He has served as a trial attorney for the Home, CNA, and Argonaut Insurance and also worked as associated general counsel at Argonaut Insurance Company and Great Central Insurance Company. Norm has prior law enforcement experience as a Cook County Deputy Sheriff as well as an investigator for the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee.
